Twoey Gray is a spoken word poet, arts educator, and insatiable sweet tooth. A young, queer, mad girlthing, her work exemplifies "the personal is political", exploring systems of power through the intimate and minute. After graduating from Toronto's BAM Youth Slam, Twoey's work has been seen at events and workshops across Ontario and beyond, including at prestigious competitions such as Brave New Voices, the College Unions Poetry Slam International, and the Women of the World Poetry Slam. Her words have shared stages with slam legends including Jasmine Mans, Shane Koyczan, and Andrea Gibson. She also runs Poetic Exchange, Ryerson University's poetry slam. She's definitely drank the sugar-water from a jar of maraschino cherries.
